Why Is There Condensation on the Inside of My Bedroom Windows Every Morning?

What this usually means
Morning condensation on the inside of bedroom windows is usually surface condensation: moisture in the room air reaches cold glass overnight and turns back into liquid water. Bedrooms are especially prone because people add moisture simply by breathing while the room and glass cool. Closed trickle vents, drying clothes indoors, weak extraction elsewhere and large temperature swings can all increase it. Moisture between the panes is a different problem and points to a failed sealed glazing unit.
What may be causing this
Indoor humidity is high overnight
Clues: Condensation is worse after drying laundry indoors, showering late, or when bedroom doors and windows remain tightly closed.
What to do: Reduce avoidable moisture and use the home's normal ventilation, including working extractor fans and trickle vents where fitted.
The glass surface becomes very cold overnight
Clues: The problem is worst on cold nights, on older glazing, or on windows in unheated rooms.

Bedroom ventilation is restricted
Clues: Trickle vents are closed or blocked, the room feels stuffy in the morning, or condensation clears only after opening the window.

Moisture is actually between the glazing panes
Clues: The mist cannot be wiped from either room-side surface and remains trapped inside the sealed unit.
What to do: That is not ordinary room condensation. It usually indicates a failed double-glazing seal and needs glazing repair or unit replacement.
